The keyboardist and founder of the band RPM Luiz Schiavon died this Thursday (15), aged 64. Schiavon was fighting an autoimmune disease and was admitted to a hospital in Osasco, in Greater São Paulo. In recent weeks, he underwent surgery and suffered complications after the procedure.
The information was confirmed in a note issued by the family, where it was also disclosed that the wake and burial will be reserved only for relatives and friends: “We hope you will remember him with the mastery and energy of his music, a legacy he left us as a gift and that will continue to live in our hearts”, adds the note.
Luiz Schiavon was conductor, composer, founder and keyboardist of one of the most successful bands in the history of pop rock in Brazil.
