Luísa Sonza broke her silence and spoke again about the accusation of racism made against her, in her documentary series, If it were Luisa Sonza, released this Wednesday (13), on Netflix. Sincerely, the singer spoke out about the process that gained strength in recent months, after being closed in court.
According to her, there was a delay in understanding the case in question, and even so, she sought to find ways to promote the anti-racist fight.. “I became aware of everything, in order to ally myself with the anti-racist cause, understand my responsibility as a white person, seek to invest in the anti-racist cause”he said.
“It took me a while to understand”
“I opened a restaurant, I invest in several projects, I include this in my life and I don’t disclose it. I try to be the most correct in this place”said Luísa Sonza. “I confess that at some point it took me a while to understand this because I am a privileged white person and am subject to this shitty and stupid structure”added the singer, who was the target of a series of attacks on the web, due to the delay in commenting on the legal process.
“I don’t want to stay here trying to convince people of something because it’s not about that, it’s about admitting mistakes and raising awareness among white people who don’t take this seriously. I regret it a lot”said Luísa.
