Justice marks hearing of Anderson Leonardo and MC Maylon after rape accusation

Anderson Leonardo, vocalist of the group Molejo, and MC Maylon will come face to face for the first time, almost a year after the MC accused the singer of rape.

The 18th Special Criminal Court of Campo Grande, in the West Zone of Rio, scheduled for next Tuesday, the 31st, the hearing to judge the injury and defamation action brought by Maylon against Anderson Leonardo.

“I filed this lawsuit against him because he broke up with me. I’m a funk artist and I lost many shows and contracts because of Anderson. He wanted to ruin my image. He said I had no talent, he called me gay and I took these videos him saying those things and I took him to the police station”, said the MC to EXTRA: “I trust in God and in Justice”.

In February last year, Maylon, who has a tattoo on his arm with the face of Anderson Leonardo, went to the 33rd DP (Realengo) police to report the singer for rape.

“He called me into the room, closed the door, took my phone and took off his shirt. He told me to sit down, that we would talk, that’s when he started to attack me. We started to measure forces, it made me panic (… ) then he managed to penetrate, I fainted from the pain”, he reported at the time: “He kept hitting me on the back, calling my name for me to wake up, in the end he said: ‘What the fuck did I do’.

After Maylon formally denounced Anderson to the police, the artist appeared at the police station. In testimony, the singer confirmed that he had had sexual intercourse with the young man, but denied the crime, since, according to him, there would have been consent.

In June, Maycon was prohibited by the Justice from citing the name of the vocalist of Molejto in publications on the web. This after the determination, in an injunction, that imposes the situation under penalty of a fine. Maylon claimed that he was the victim of sexual abuse by the singer, a fact that was denied by Anderson at the time the case came to light.

Anderson Leonardo mentions jealousy of MC Maylon and surprise with the accusation of rape: ‘I thought the guy liked it’.

Justice responded to a request by Anderson, who even mentioned that the repercussions on the case were causing him damage.

“That the parties, author and defendant, refrain from making new publications about the fact until the final judgment of this lawsuit, under penalty of a fine of BRL 1,000 for each content disclosed and removal from the personal page of Facebook, Instagram, in short , any and all forms of media”, is part of the decision.

In the order, the magistrate also mentioned one of Anderson’s fears after the disclosure of the MC’s participation in the attraction.

“Still, without any conclusion regarding the materiality of the crime, the defendant was invited to participate in a reality show, which makes the author feel his image is at risk, since his innocence is presumed. of weighing the right of the alleged victim of a crime of sexual violence, to report their pain, their suffering, and the right of those who claim to be innocent, to have not only their personal life, but their career affected by the complaint”, says the document.
