July is the month of beer festivals in SP; check it out – 06/27/2023 – Full Glass

Yes, Oktoberfest could be the biggest beer festival in the country (in Blumenau) and in the world (in Munich). But fans of craft labels now have a month to call their own. In July, at least four events should delight those who consume special labels, from hops to alcoholic Russian imperial stouts.

The month marks the birthdays of the darlings Trilha Cervejaria (7 years old) and Dogma (8 years old), who promote parties in July with several guest breweries, in addition to their own special labels. The All Beer Sessions brings together more than 70 breweries, including Brazilian and imported ones. And there is still the awaited Dark Mauro Day, at EAP, a day dedicated to dark beers. Party of the 7 (July 2)

To celebrate its seventh anniversary, Trilha offers a party at Fermentaria, in Barra Funda, full of guests. In addition to 15 taps and special labels from the house, partners Daniel Bekeierman and Beto Tempel receive reinforcement from the excellent Dádiva, Zalaz, Cozalinda, Salvador Brewing and Devaneio do Velhaco, among others.

And that’s not all. There are also wines and ciders from Vivente, coffee from Um Coffee Co. and tidbits from neighbor Komah and Lobozó, all to the sound of Brazilian music setlists with DJs Magrão and Yve. Up to 300 people are expected in space. The ticket, for BRL 250, entitles you to an event glass and 20 party vouchers (the party currency), which can be exchanged for 100 ml to 300 ml glasses, according to the style.

All Beers Sessions (July 8)

Commanded by Raphael Rodrigues, All Beers promotes an event full of special beers twice a year. In this winter edition, more than 70 breweries confirmed their presence, both national and imported, such as Avós (SP), Japas (SP), Masterpiece (RJ), Zapata (RS), Goose Island (USA), Trappistes Rochefort (Belgium) and Pilsner Urquell (Czech Republic), among others. The ticket (BRL 260 plus taxes) entitles you to an open bar from all the taps at the event, in addition to a personalized glass.

Dark Mauro Day (July 14)

One of the main customers of Empório Alto dos Pinheiros, Mauro Nakamura has a birthday on July 14th. A fan of dark beers, he suggested to owner Paulo Almeida a day just with beers with roasted malts and high alcohol content. The game became one of the main events of the EAP, and also a way of honoring customers. Bringing together fans of russian imperial stouts and other aspects, this year’s DMD will have around 40 beers, always special, with exclusive or single barrel labels. Paulo leaves two taps with light beers so as not to scare the unwary. The event takes place on Friday (July 14th), but there is a necessary chorinho on Saturday. In the coming days, the bar should announce some participating breweries on its social networks. There is no admission charge.

Save the Liver (July 15)

Fans of the hops at Cervejaria Dogma can enjoy more than 30 different barrels from the brand and from guests —such as Everbrew (Santos) and Tarin (Nova Lima, MG)— to drink as much as you like (with ticket, for R$420) . The event planned for 2020 was postponed by the pandemic. Now, it marks the eight years of the brewery. In the profile on Instagram it is possible to follow some spoilers of the participants.
