The work “Dawns and crepuscles: everything to do with Justice” is a chronicle that portrays poetry in honor of the homeland
Manaus (AM) – The Academia Amazonense de Letras held, this week, at the Salão do Pensamento Amazônico Álvaro Maia, another book launch edition, the literary work “Dawns and crepuscles: everything to do with Justice”, by Judge Lafayette Carneiro Vieira.
The event brought together family, friends, lovers of Amazonian literature, as well as personalities, including Antônio Ausier, representing the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy of Amazonas – Marcos Apolo Muniz, Deputy Serafim Fernandes Correa and Judge Lúcia Viana, president of the Association Brazilian Association of Legal Career Women in Amazonas, in addition to the presence of the President of the Amazonian Academy of Letters, Dr. Aristotle Comte de Alencar Filho.
The work “Dawns and crepuscles: everything to do with Justice” is a chronicle that portrays poetry in honor of the homeland, a summary of the trajectory belonging to the André Araújo series. The work was published due to parliamentary amendments proposed by Deputy Serafim Fernandes Corrêa and due to financial terms, signed with the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretary of State for Culture and Creative Economy.
During the ceremony, the sons of Academic Lafayette Carneiro Vieira, Marcelo Vieira, Rogério Vieira and Lafayette Junior, as well as his granddaughter Nina Vieira, took the opportunity to express their admiration, respect and primacy. The tributes ended with the authorial poem recited by the vice-president of the Association of Journalists and Writers, Eulália Bichara.
After the launch, the autographed book was distributed free of charge and a cocktail was offered to guests at the Salão Mário Ypiranga Monteiro. All titles released throughout the year will be available for consultation at the Genesino Braga Memorial and Library, located at the Academy’s headquarters, at Rua Ramos Ferreira, 1009, Centro, from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
