‘Capitu and the Chapter’, ‘Luiz Carlini – Rock Guitarist’ and ‘Desire Machine’ are still on display
Manaus (AM) – This Thursday (17), Cine Casarão, a space dedicated to the Seventh Art of the Centro Cultural Casarão de Ideias (CCCI), located in the center of Manaus, receives two premieres: ‘Disco Boy – Choque Entre Mundos’ and ‘Depois de Ser Gray’. Tickets can be purchased in advance via Instagram (@casaraodeideias) at the price of R$ 16 (full) and R$ 8 (half).
Directed by Eduardo Wannmacher, the first screening of ‘Depois de Ser Cinza’, on Thursday, will be at 5:30 pm. In the feature, Isabel is a young plastic artist who decides to drop everything to try a new life in Croatia. After five years of living in the Balkan country, she suffers a major trauma. At that moment, Isabel meets a man. Re-exhibitions will be Saturday (19), at 4 pm, and Sunday (20), at 5:30 pm.
Also on Thursday, at 7:30 pm, there will be the first showing of ‘Disco Boy – Choque Entre Mundos’, by Giacomo Abbruzzese. Aleksei arrives in Paris and is forced to join the Foreign Legion after a traumatic journey through Europe. In turn, Jomo is faced with the aggressiveness of the oil companies in his village in Niger. The film will be shown again on Friday (18), at 3:30 pm, and Sunday, at 7:10 pm.
Still in the programming of Cine Casarão, the public will be able to find ‘Capitu and the Chapter’ (Thursday, at 4 pm; Sunday, at 4 pm), ‘Luiz Carlini – Rock Guitarist’ (Friday, at 5:15 pm; Saturday, at 7:40 pm) and ‘ Wish Machine’ (Friday, at 7 pm; Saturday, at 5:40 pm).
