The performances will take place in the city’s new leisure space, located between the North and East zones of Manaus
Manaus – Manaus’ 354th birthday will be celebrated in style on October 24th and will feature national attractions such as Tierry and Joelma and local artists such as Guto Lima and Vanda Guedes.
The celebrations will also feature Mayor David Almeida delivering the first stage of the Amazonino Mendes Municipal Park, where the artists’ performances will take place.
The city’s new leisure space is located between the North and East zones of the Amazonian capital.
The population will also be able to donate non-perishable food and hygiene materials to communities isolated by the severe drought affecting the State, transforming the 354th anniversary into a great anniversary of solidarity.
Traditional events postponed
Due to the smoke that has covered Manaus in recent days, the Feirinha do Tururi and Boi Manaus, which would be held, respectively, from the 13th to the 23rd and the 21st to the 23rd of this month, were postponed, until a period when the city is not suffering most from air pollution.
