Jaraqui Graúdo Award recognizes startups and leaders in the innovation ecosystem

Manaus (AM) – This Wednesday (29), starting at 7:30 pm, on the main stage of ExpoAmazônia Bio&TIC, which is taking place at Studio 5 Centro de Convenções, the 8th edition of the Jaraqui Graúdo Prize, an annual award for the Manaus startup ecosystem, will take place. O In time is represented in the awards, in the “Report of the Year” category, with the article “Manaus is home to technology companies and startups”, by journalist Jonathan Ferreira.

The award is organized by volunteers from the Jaraqui Valley community to recognize personalities and initiatives focused on digital business. The award involves 19 categories, but only 18 will be voted on and takes place in three phases.

In the first of these, the innovation sector community organizes an open vote in which the nominees are chosen spontaneously, that is, without any choice list. They then collect the information and curate it to verify the veracity of the information.

In the second phase, an evaluation committee made up of 36 influential people at regional and national levels in the innovation and new business segment is elected. This committee is responsible for choosing the categories and selecting the finalists for each of them.

ExpoAmazônia

ExpoAmazônia Bio&TIC 2023 is organized by the Manaus Digital Pole Association (APDM), Institute for Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon (Idesam), Government of Amazonas – through the Secretariat of Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Sedecti-AM ) -, Manaus City Hall – through the Municipal Secretariat of Labor, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Semtepi) and the Amazon Biobusiness Center (CBA).

In addition to discussing, integrating, consolidating and leveraging the region’s Bioeconomy and Information and Communication Technology hubs as two viable and sustainable economic vectors for the maintenance of the Amazon forest and for the socioeconomic development of the people of the Amazon, the fair aims to strengthen the Bio&TIC ecosystems and constantly integrate them with actors from national and international innovation ecosystems.
