Manaus (AM) – Suframa and Banco da Amazônia (Basa) began discussing, this Monday (19), the execution of initiatives that may cover municipalities in the states of Amazonas and Roraima, with information on tax incentives and attractive bank financing offers. The objective is to promote interiorization and regional integration between the two states.

Another institution that will also be invited to take part in the process is the Superintendency for the Development of the Amazon (Sudam). The matter was discussed directly between the superintendent of Suframa, Bosco Saraiva, and the regional superintendent of the financial institution (which serves both states), Esmar Manfer Dutra do Prado.

The conversation also served as a preliminary to the meeting that will take place on Wednesday (21), in Belém, between Bosco Saraiva and the presidency of Basa, as a way of bringing the institutions closer together in relation to projects that have points in common.

“We deal with the challenges that institutions tend to meet for regional integration and the internalization of development. This approach is in line with trying to solve an old problem”, justified the superintendent of Suframa.

“The idea is to take the three institutions to the interior of the Amazon in an integrated manner, in the sense of creating a joint portfolio of initiatives and projects that can meet the idea of ​​internalizing development and integrating the Amazon, bringing economic development and for all areas of the Amazon region”,

added Suframa Executive Deputy Superintendent, Frederico Aguiar.

The work for integration with the other states in the region is one of the priorities of Suframa’s new management and began in May, with a personal conversation by Bosco Saraiva with the coordinators of the regional units, held at the Autarchy’s headquarters, and the team technique to Rondônia. On the occasion, meetings and orientation lectures were held for civil servants who work in Porto Velho and Ji-Paraná.

On the next 22nd and 23rd, the superintendent and technical team will be in Macapá to participate in the 1st Workshop on the Informatics Law, jointly organized by Suframa and the Government of Amapá, through the State Secretariat for Science and Technology (Setec -AP). The goal is to publicize the ZFM Information Technology Law, integrate ecosystem agents and obtain political support for issues related to infrastructure and investments in Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I).

In July, the program will be in Boa Vista, when the Municipality will participate in a seminar with local businessmen.
