After signing the stable union document proposed by Guerra (Humberto Martins), the lovebirds Ari (Chay Suede) and Chiara (Jade Picon) decide to promote a party with the right to a wedding dress and a page. In the chapter of ‘Travessia’ this Thursday, the 2nd, while the young woman is immersed in the last preparations for her look for the celebration, the architect receives the guests alongside his mother, Núbia (Drica Moraes), and reacts with surprise to the see Brisa (Lucy Alves) arriving at the scene. Upon discovering that Oto (Romulo Estrela) would be invited by the businessman, and with the hope of meeting the boy on the occasion, Brisa decided to go to the event accompanied by her godmother, Creusa (Luci Pereira).

Wearing the dress she planned for her wedding with the computer specialist, Brisa ends up arguing with Ari and the idea of ​​getting Oto’s attention ends there, in the clash between the two. In the impulse to react to Ari’s provocations, Brisa pushes her son’s father into the pool and leaves furious at the beginning of the celebration.

Chiara wears a strapless wedding dress, with a removable skirt to enjoy the dance floor, and a glove all embroidered with beads and bugle, which gives a romantic touch to the look. According to the main costume designer for ‘Travessia’, Natalia Duran, the young woman’s dress was made exclusively in the studio at Estúdios Globo. Inspired by French haute couture, the objective was to create a more sober and, at the same time, youthful piece. “Our team thought of something that would make her look like a bride at first, but then look like a girl dressed for a party, a celebration”, says Natalia, who gives details of the dress created by her and her team. “The syrup, which makes up the dress’s removable skirt, is fitted with hooks and highlighted at the waist. Chiara’s pair of earrings and necklace were also designed exclusively for the scenes,” she points out. It took ten days of teamwork to finalize the dress.

Chiara’s makeup, on the other hand, remained in the tone and style already used by the character on a daily basis, as explained by makeup artist Rachel Furman. “The inspiration was Chiara herself, who uses make-up with pebbles, glitter and satin eyeshadow. We wanted to keep her personality, that is, the same characterization line already defined for the character using pink and beige tones. In the hair, we chose to use barrettes in two formats and two colors – silver and rose gold, placing the accessories in a relaxed way, which gave a modern and sophisticated look at the same time”, points out Rachel.

Ari is also well groomed, in a suit and shirt that make him look like a modern groom.

But the production does not last long, as in the midst of an argument with Brisa about custody of the child, the architect is pushed and falls into the pool. “Ari is also super composed, but not as traditional, he’s not that straight groom. We chose not to wear a tie, as it would be just a party, without a ceremony in the church, for example, so much protocol would not be necessary”, explains Natália, who also points out that the character wears a second look, since the groom needs change clothes after getting all wet.

The woman from Maranhão wears the dress she planned for her wedding with Oto, with lace brought from Maranhão, and stronger makeup. “On a day-to-day basis, Brisa doesn’t wear makeup. We chose to make the eyes in a brown tone, made with smokey pencil and with the center of the eyes lit, in addition to the hair parted on the side”, explains Rachel. In all, the characterization team worked with 70 extras in addition to the cast.
