But the entrepreneur will have to pay with the provision of services to the community or public entities and a fine of 10 minimum wages. The ex-BBB was convicted of the crimes of drunkenness behind the wheel, bodily injury, contempt twice and threat. The case had great repercussions.
In 2020, the former reality show participant was returning from a fraternization, under the influence of alcohol, when he was involved in an accident.
Exhausted, after the accident, Alemão went after everyone at the scene and it was even proven that he transferred R$ 7,000 to another victim of the crash so that she would not call the police. He was arrested red-handed and released the day after posting bail.
“We received it with a great deal of surprise, since the innocence of Diego Gasques was unequivocally demonstrated during the procedural instruction. The process is not over yet and, of course, we will appeal the first degree decision. The double degree of jurisdiction exists to avoid injustices”, says the note from the former BBB’s lawyer.
