In Manaus, registration for the “Pre-Acceleration of Startups” course will continue until August 18

Manaus (AM) – The Municipality of Manaus, through the Municipal Department of Labor, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Semtepi), and the Municipal Fund for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Fumipeq), announces, this Wednesday (19), that enrollment for the “Pre-Acceleration of Startups” ends on August 18th.

The program is proposed for 50 startups with up to five participants per business. Executed by the organization “Inova Mais”, the acceleration is part of the public notice “More Innovation” and aims to boost enterprises in the region.

“The ‘Startups Pre-Acceleration’ is a unique opportunity to boost entrepreneurship and innovation in our city. Our goal is to create an environment conducive to the emergence and growth of startups, training our local talent and attracting new entrepreneurs to invest in the capital. From this course we will provide a solid foundation of knowledge and skills essential for success in the startup world”,

highlighted Semtepi’s secretary, Radyr Júnior.

The activity is aimed at formal or informal business entrepreneurs (with or without CNPJ), micro and small, who have a business or innovative idea, residing in Manaus. The complete pre-acceleration consists of face-to-face training and individual online mentoring.

There will be a total of three modules per class. The first of them will address: Lean Startup; Design Thinking; Customer Development and Value Proposition. In the second, participants will learn about the Business Model; Market and Marketing; User Experience and Pitch. The third module will be totally practical, with Prototyping and Validation; Development and Presentation of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and technical mentoring.

The team of mentors, specialists and experienced professionals will be available to the participants to guide them throughout the process, assisting in the development of their projects and ideas. The course has the importance of promoting the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, creating a network of collaboration and mutual support among local entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs will participate in some stages, including the start of the pre-acceleration, the duration of the three modules, the mentoring period, and the Demoday, followed by finalization. In addition, participants will be connecting to investment opportunities and strategic partnerships, enabling startups to gain scale and reach a wider audience.
