iFood seal recognizes restaurants that offer the best service

What if your restaurant or bar was listed among the best, out of approximately 300,000 establishments across the country, within the largest food delivery platform in Latin America? This is what Super, from iFood, offers recognition and appreciation program for establishments that offer better service performance.

With the aim of rewarding restaurants that offer above-average user experiences, Super was created in 2019 and has already recognized more than 110,000 establishments. To earn the seal, the establishment must, in three months, add 45 completed orders or more and register at least 10 reviews made by customers.

Once these two criteria are met, the restaurant becomes eligible given the following points: minimum score of 4.7 in evaluation; less than 1% of orders that had a problem (opening of tickets) and cancellation less than or equal to 0.90%. The main factors that interfere with the cancellation are reasons for which the restaurant is responsible, such as: order not delivered, incorrect item, order not accepted, among others.

The program uses a performance scale divided into five levels. Recognition is monthly, which means that partners present on the platform need to continue offering a good experience constantly.

Benefits

Based on the comparative analysis between Super partners and non-Super partners, the platform identified some positive points regarding the impact of the seal on the business.

• Largest average ticket: Partners that deliver the best customer experience have a higher average ticket than non-Super partners, with a 15% increase in order value;
• Top conversion rate: The proportion of customers who choose a Super partner compared to non-Super is greater, with a variation of 3 percentage points above, that is, the Super seal in your store’s bio brings credibility when the customer chooses where to buy ;
• Customer loyalty: More than 50% of Super restaurants have repurchases, that is, customers return to their business and place new orders, which indicates greater loyalty.

In addition to the benefits mentioned above, the program offers other benefits to the partner. Among them: exclusive track on Decola, with training content for restaurant owners and their employees; preference in Recognition Actions, such as Hamburger Day, Pizza Day, among others, being recognized in the main iFood communication channels; and an exclusive list in the application, containing all the restaurants verified with the Super seal on the home page of the iFood app.

This is in addition to the communication about the program carried out by the platform in different channels. This makes it possible for customers to order and discover Super restaurants, bringing visibility to these partners.

Restaurants with the highest reputation are invited by iFood to participate in events sponsored by the platform. This year, for example, the company took partners with the Super seal to São João de Caruaru, in Pernambuco, a party that lasted 65 days, from April 28 to July 1, and is considered the largest São João in the world.

One of the establishments that received the Super seal was Tuba Pizza. Installed in the Novo Mundo neighborhood, in Curitiba, the pizzeria created in 2008 gained the highest reputation in the app.

Based on the seal, Wolney, owner of the pizzeria, notes that users look at the establishment with more confidence, as there is a clear perception that it is a company that offers good service and quality products. “There is an increase in the number of requests for the exclusivity of the seal”, he points out. “It conveys more credibility,” he adds.

Success case

Ken Tai restaurant, from Curitiba, obtained the Super seal in December 2019. Mateus César Martin, owner of the establishment, understands that the achievement was something natural, since he has always worked to offer a unique experience to the consumer. The brand works with a team of its own motoboys, different packaging and quick delivery.

“We take care of delivery a lot, it is one of the main activities of our restaurant”, he says. As a result, it has virtually zero churn rates and virtually no delays. “Then came the seal,” she adds.

As a result, Ken Tai is usually featured on lists of restaurants that have the seal within iFood. This list is driven by the platform. “The reward is that we are more in sight [do cliente]and that generates more sales, more revenue, more billing”, he celebrates.

The advantages that iFood offers to its more than 300,000 active restaurants go beyond visibility and reach among the brand’s more than 40 million customers.
