IBGE Contest: see the list of 316 approved – 06/02/2023 – Market

The competition for an internship at the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) had the approved list released this Wednesday (31). Click here to see the list of approved candidates.

There are 316 reserve registration vacancies for students from 22 higher education courses in 25 states and the Federal District. Roraima is the only federation unit that did not participate in the process.

The organization of the contest evaluates the resource requests, which were sent until this Thursday (1st), and the final result will be announced on June 23rd.

The IBGE is yet to hold another tender this year. On May 17, the institute received authorization to hire 8,141 professionals to work in the final part of the 2022 Demographic Census process.

Hours and benefits

The internship program, whose results were announced, is aimed at students from public or private colleges recognized by the MEC (Ministry of Education), starting in the third period and who still have six months or more to complete the course on the possible date of convocation.

The internship will have a journey of 20 or 30 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, at times to be defined by the IBGE, and may be face-to-face, distance or hybrid. The duration will be two years.

The value of the internship scholarship will be R$ 787.98 for a 20-hour shift, and R$ 1,125.69 for a 30-hour journey. Those selected will also receive a transport allowance of R$ 10 per day of internship if they have to go to the IBGE in person.

The test was held online between May 8th and 23th. The provisional template was also released last Wednesday and is available at this link.

Now, those approved will be called for an interview with the vacancy supervisor or the servers designated by the area. The call will be made by email and the student will have up to 24 hours to report receipt of the email, under penalty of being disqualified from the selection process.

After the interview, those chosen will sign the contract, which will last for two years, with a minimum duration of six months.
