Hotel Villa d’Ozio opens restaurant for the general public, in Itajaí (SC)

The restaurant at the Villa d’Ozio hotel, located at Praia Brava, in Itajaí (SC), now serves the general public at lunch and dinner times, without the need for reservation, and breakfast, upon reservation. The menu, designed by chef Jean Carlos, brings European influences, especially Italian cuisine, with choices of noble meats, seafood and vegetarian dishes. The house is open from Monday to Sunday, from 12pm to 11pm.

“In addition to being a business designed with great care for the public, we really want to contribute more and more to the development and tourism qualification of our region, valuing talents, our history and colonization. The Villa d’Ozio hotel gradually began opening its restaurant by reservation last year and it was a success. Therefore, we decided to bring this permanent attraction to the public and provide an experience full of flavors in a comfortable place with personalized service this summer”, comments the director of Villa d’Ozio, Ronaldo Jansson Júnior.

As for the menu, the highlights are La Busara and Porto Ciervo, both authorial creations by chef Jean Carlos. La Busara is prepared with prawns in fresh cream, golden onion, roasted garlic, white wine and red pepper. Porto Ciervo, on the other hand, consists of toasted gnocchi with mushrooms in goat cheese fonduta. Another highlight is the Puglia starter, burrata with toasted tomatoes, pesto and artisan breads.

For dessert, the menu includes chocolate and orange cannoli, tiramisù and panna cotta.
