More than one hundred health agents who work along the Negro and Amazonas rivers participated in the training to advance in the territorialization of the rural area of ​​the capital promoted by the Manaus City Hall on Friday (24).

The Municipal Health Secretariat (Semsa) started this work last year, along almost 90 kilometers of BR-174, with the aim of georeferencing all access roads and identifying the real population that lives in this area.

The territorialization process is being coordinated by the Rural Health District (Disa). This Friday, the training began at 8 am, in the auditorium Dr. Deodato de Miranda Leão, at the headquarters of Semsa, in the Adrianópolis neighborhood, South Central Zone, for Community Health Agents (ACS), Endemic Disease Control Agents (ACE) and managers of Basic Rural Health Units (UBSR) São Pedro, Ephigênio Salles and Our Lady of Fatima.

The director of Primary Care at Semsa, Sonja Farias, explained that the registration of users and access routes will be done through the e-SUS Território application, from the Ministry of Health, and will be essential to qualify the health actions developed in this region from the city.

“The rural area is a very large territory, but with a very low demographic density, so we need to go in search of users of the Unified Health System, and through this activity, we will accelerate the process of identifying where they are. The secretariat is optimizing this database to have an epidemiological profile closer to reality, and we are even waiting for the data from the last census by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, the IBGE, to be added to ours”, she said.

The director of Disa Rural, Rubens Santos, recalled that territorialization has already been completed in the area of ​​UBSR Ada Viana, on BR-174, from Km 9 to 96, reaching the borders of the municipalities of Presidente Figueiredo and Rio Preto da Eva. Now, the next step will delimit the micro-areas of action of Primary Care in Manaus from the border with Novo Airão, on the Calha do Rio Negro, to the border with Itacoatiara, on the Calha on the Amazon River.

“Based on this training, health agents will begin to carry out the territorialization of their areas, so that we can streamline and strengthen the performance of basic health, meeting the needs of the population that is present in this region and subsidizing our health promotion strategies . It is a technological and informational advance never made in basic health in the city of Manaus, and that will change the reality of these users”, explained Rubens.

Goals

Disa Rural’s Health Care manager, Janiete Barbosa, said that territorialization seeks to build a static and intelligent map for each micro-area of ​​the rural zone, obtained after the survey carried out in loco by the health teams.

“We are going to strengthen the programmed care in the community, with actions that can actually meet the priorities of these families”, he observed.

In addition, the process will contribute to the elimination of paper forms and the registration scanning process, as was done until then, since the entire process is done directly in the application and synchronized with the other information systems at the time it is connected to the internet.
