GUIDE: Tool catalogs AI tools – 8/29/2023 – #Hashtag

The #Hashtag has shown the evolution of artificial intelligence throughout the year, from the launch of ChatGPT to the threat it can pose in the Mexican elections.

On social networks, every day a new artificial intelligence tool is launched, with the promise of revolutionizing our lives and our productivity at work. The options are so diverse, with infinite functionalities, that the user can be completely lost.

With that in mind, journalist Uesley Durães, editor of Newsverso, at Curto News, decided to create the “guide”. It is a catalog of artificial intelligence tools where it is possible to compare different AIs and choose the most suitable one for personal or professional use. The platform also allows you to read reviews and give your opinion on what is available.

“Readers were kind of lost. It’s a common pain for people who aren’t extremely connected in this more technological area. The goal is to make people’s lives easier”, says Uesley Durães, who then sought references abroad. He found more technical material, and the guide was an attempt to simplify it into the language of journalism. “We want to unite journalism with artificial intelligence”, says Uesley.

The difference, according to the journalist, is that the “guide” tries to be as didactic as possible, and with evaluations on what is useful or not. And most importantly, emphasizes Uesley: everything reported and reviewed by journalists. No artificial intelligence to filter the artificial intelligence.

“The guide is the first step towards democratizing the consumption of journalism with artificial intelligence and making those who need it literate”, defines Uesley.

For now there are about 50 AI tools mapped. The plan is to expand it weekly.
