You may not know, but the famous Italian brand Gucci has a chain of restaurants. Designed by chef Massimo Bottura, Gucci Osteria is a chain with four restaurants around the world. The first of them opened in Florence in 2018. And that’s where Curitiba chef Manu Buffara was this week for a collaborative dinner. Together with her, Osteria’s executive co-chefs, Karime López and Takahiko Kondo, prepared a menu full of discoveries and Brazilianness last Tuesday night (24).

Chef Claudia Krauspenhar, from K.sa Restaurante; and chef Lucas Correia, who is part of the Manu team; they also accompanied the award-winning chef from Curitiba at the event at Gucci Osteria. They helped Manu in preparing the tasting menu dishes that had the Brazilian signature.

On the menu, Manu showed a little of our country’s cuisine and ingredients to Italy. Tucupi, peach palm and honey from native Brazilian bees made up the dishes presented by the chef from Curitiba.
