This Thursday, the 2nd, chapter 100 of ‘Travessia’ airs with an attack on Guerra (Humberto Martins) and Cidália (Cassia Kis), and the main suspect is Moretti (Rodrigo Lombardi). After asking Guida (Alessandra Negrini) to testify against her ex-husband in the inquiry into the hacking from the mansion in São Luis, the two are on their way home, when, suddenly, a time bomb explodes. The artifact is not capable of detonating the car, but it is enough to make Guerra lose control of the car and overturn, leaving the two members of the vehicle in critical condition.

At Stenio’s (Alexandre Nero) apartment, Moretti sees the news of the explosion with satisfaction. The lawyer soon suspects that the client has involvement with what happened. In a short time, information about Guerra and Cidália’s hospitalization invades the news. Delegate Helô (Giovanna Antonelli) also immediately considers that the case is an attack and decides to anticipate Moretti’s testimony, which does not take long to be subpoenaed.

The plot involving Guerra and Cidália, as Gloria Perez defines it, initiates different developments and is a milestone for the telenovela. “Chapter 100 is a tradition among soap opera authors, it’s when we take the big turns in the plot. In ‘Travessia’, the attack against Guerra and Cidália is the starting point of a series of events that move the story. The accusation that Brisa kidnapped children is one of them. It is from there, for example, that we will meet the protagonist’s blood relative, who is about to face the most turbulent moment of her life, as the gypsy said in last Monday’s chapter”, anticipates Gloria.

According to director Walter Carvalho, the sequence of scenes from the accident was prepared in approximately three days, between visiting the location and planning, and filmed in one night. “When I started shooting cinema, explosions were different. Today, technology helps us, tests, equipment and, above all, safety. In the scene in question, a machine was used that is placed under the car and is designed to catapult”, says Walter, who also explains the technical details of the explosion sequence. “The machine is activated by air reservoirs and, in synchrony, two people trigger the fire. And with lens resources and focal lengths, we place the fire in a position that on the screen appears to be very close to the characters, but in fact it is not ”, he reveals.
