Brazil will be part of the investments of Circulate Capital, a company that operates in the market in projects to reduce environmental impacts. The focus in the country will be on the plastic chain and the proposal is to qualify recycling companies to reduce pollution and contamination by the product.
Behind this investment fund are global companies such as PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Chrevron Phillips Chemical, Dow, Mondelez, among others.
The project will start by the end of July and, initially, will cover the plastic chain in industries and retail. In addition to Brazil, other neighbors in the Southern Cone will receive investments totaling US$ 65 million (R$ 331 million).
The idea is to develop solutions together with recycling companies —a process that ranges from collection and sorting to processing and manufacturing.
