Folha launches Todas, an initiative with content for women – 10/05/2023 – Equilíbrio

With the aim of increasing coverage of self-care, health, fashion, career, politics and culture for women, the Sheet The multiplatform initiative Todas debuts this Thursday (5).

The purpose of the publications will be to talk to women about decision-making, everyday problems, physical and emotional issues, highlights from the news, in addition to reflecting on careers, entrepreneurship and resource management.

The texts, videos and newsletter will be curated by female journalists, experts and columnists and will be available on a page on the newspaper’s website. The initiative will supply all editorial centers.

The project, which will be led by editor Victoria Damasceno, includes deputy editor Sílvia Haidar and reporters Bárbara Blum and Vitória Macedo. All published material will be based on the pillars that guide the daily practices of Sheetsuch as critical spirit, plurality and non-partisanship.

As part of the initiative, Ana Fontes, CEO of RME (Rede Mulher Empreendedora), and Joanna Moura, fashion expert and author of “What if I stopped buying? The year I went out of fashion” (Harper Collins, 2021) bring together join the newspaper’s team of female columnists, which already includes names such as Vera Iaconelli, Tati Bernardi and Mirian Goldenberg.

Exclusive texts and news produced by national and international partners will be part of the repertoire. The material broadcast will be marked by diversity: all stages of life, income ranges, ethnicities and all body types, for example, will be included in the productions.

The project will have a weekly newsletter, which will bring reflections on the news and relevant discussions for women to the center of the debate. The emails, signed by the publisher, will also provide reading tips and cultural suggestions. The first shot will be taken on October 25th. Furthermore, the initiative will feature Comunidade Todas, a permanent group on WhatsApp that will connect readers, subscribers or not, with each other and with the newsroom. Through groups and subgroups, participants will have the opportunity to discuss issues related to politics, career, culture and self-care from Monday (9). To launch the project, the Sheet, in partnership with RME, launches a special offer for women: two months of free subscription and another six with a 67% discount, totaling a monthly fee of R$9.90.
