Brazil will have two new direct air links with Argentina and Chile. The flights departing from Florianópolis, in Santa Catarina, will be operated by JetSmart, a low-cost airline, from November 30th to Buenos Aires and December 27th to Santiago.
The new routes will allow you to go from one city to another without the need to stop in Brasilia or make any other type of stopover. In this way, passengers will be able to travel from Florianópolis to Santiago or Buenos Aires in approximately two and a half hours.
To the capital of Argentina, flights will have three weekly frequencies (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday). After Christmas, there will be an increase in frequency to take advantage of the holidays and the section will be performed four times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday). Departures will always be at 20:40.
Now, if the destination is the Chilean capital, it is possible to find three flight options per week: Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, departing at 9:40 am.
The company expects to transport around 92,000 people in its first year of operation between the terminals at Florianópolis International Airport and the international airports of Buenos Aires – Ezeiza and Arturo Merino Benitez, in Santiago. According to JetSmart, launch rates start at BRL 230 for Buenos Aires and BRL 331.00 for Santiago, each way and taxes included.
