Singer Fernanda Abreu showed on her Instagram, this Friday, the before and after of herself with a childhood and current photo. And isn’t she the same? The 61-year-old from Rio de Janeiro even joked with her followers.
“Have I changed much?” he wrote.
Fernanda’s fans soon filled the post with comments saying that she has changed very little over time.
“Always beautiful and always good blood,” commented one, in reference to one of the singer’s hits.
Fernanda was part of Brazilian rock history as the singer of the legendary band Blitz, led by Evandro Mesquita. With their danceable and irreverent songs, the group had a meteoric success between 1982 and 1986, releasing three albums with classics that are still sung by the crowd today, such as, “You didn’t know how to love me”, “Betty Frigida”, “Dois Passos do Paraíso” , “Mais Uma de Amor”, “Weekend”, among others.
With the end of the band, the singer began to drink at the source of other different styles such as disco, funk and pop music, already popular in the United States, but still little known here. With a totally different work from what everyone was used to seeing with Blitz, in 1990 Fernanda released her first solo album, “SLA Radical Dance Disco Club”, bringing nine of the eleven tracks composed by Fernanda in partnership with other musicians. From then on, the carioca singer “Garota Sangue Bom” never stopped scoring hits, such as “Rio 40 Graus”, “Você Pra Mim”, “Veneno da Lata”.
