With 32 years of experience in the trade of Caxias do Sul, Super Testolin invested R$ 4 million in its strategy of expanding its units. The first branch, located in Bairro Bela Vista, generated 40 direct and 50 indirect jobs. The family business, managed by Alberto Testolin and his daughters Jéssica Testolin and Angélica Testolin, is headquartered in Bairro Rio Branco.
Installed at the same address as the old Zampieri market, the new store has an area of 1,200 square meters and is open from Monday to Monday, from 8 am to 8 pm. With this new investment, the company’s expectation is to raise revenues between 40% and 60%. Testolin’s flagship, the butchery, hortifruti and bakery and confectionery services are highlighted at the new address.
Reinforcing the brand’s history, the inaugurated branch continues to work with the neighborhood market concept, with a direct relationship with customers. The proposal, according to Alberto Testolin, is to create ties with the community, delivering a better quality service to the neighborhood, closer to the public and with the characteristics of the brand. “People like to identify with us. It’s a trade made by people for people. Many followed Jéssica and Angélica’s growth in the market”, he points out.
Located between the Cruzeiro, Lourdes and Bela Vista neighborhoods, in the East Zone of Caxias, the operation has an architectural project that reads the history of the place. The pavilion, which looks like an industrial building, was covered with metal tiles, reusing materials from the old metal structure, following contemporary concepts of sustainability. The facade is open, integrated into the landscape. The internal environment privileges the product, highlighting the goods. The own free parking lot offers 60 spaces.
Following an expansion and qualification project, Super Testolin’s investments will be increased in 2023. Also in the first half, the new store should gain a cafeteria located on the mezzanine floor. The company is also preparing to invest in digital, with the creation of an application for purchases and the incorporation of its own logistics.
