Exchange of wristbands for Festa dos Visitantes 2023 starts Tuesday at AM

The exchange of non-perishable food for access wristbands to the Visitors’ Party starts this Tuesday (27th), extending until Thursday (29th), when the event will be held at the Bumbódromo, in Parintins (distant 369 kilometers from Manaus ).

Entrance to the Visitors Party will be free, upon donation of one kilogram of non-perishable food or two items from a predefined list of products, made available on the social networks of the departments involved.

The exchange, collection and storage post will be the Escola Estadual São José Operário, on Rua Oneldes Martins, in Parintins, and will be open from 8 am to 2 pm. According to the Culture and Creative Economy secretary, Marcos Apolo Muniz, a number of wristbands will be made available in the three days of action:

“In total, there are 17,000 wristbands, which will be delivered from two items on the list that is being released and, when it is on Tuesday, we deliver something like 4,200 wristbands, the same amount is repeated on Wednesday. On Thursday, we deliver the rest”, says the portfolio holder.

For each donation, a CPF will be registered to receive an access bracelet, which will have different colors indicating the sectors available in the Bumbódromo: track (arena), Caprichoso crew, Garantido crew and side chairs. For cabins, food donation corresponds to the capacity of guests in the place and must also be taken to the school.

Apolo adds that, when the food is exchanged, bracelets will be placed on each donor: “The bracelet is made of fabric, placed at the exact moment of delivery of the food. So, there’s no problem taking a shower, which has even become a souvenir or prop for anyone attending the event on the night of June 29th,” adds the secretary.

On a technical visit to the São José Operário school, the Executive Secretary for Culture, Candido Jeremias, aligned the last details of the integrated action. He warned about the registration that will be completed at the time of exchange: “It is important to say that the entire structure that will be set up at the state school will need a registration with RG, CPF and place of birth of that person and already put on the wristbands for access to the Visitors Party ”, emphasizes Candido.

Children from 10 years old can participate in the party, accompanied by parents or guardians. When exchanging food, they must present the following: birth certificate or identification document with photo of minors. In addition, document (RG and CPF) of parents or guardians.

As for the allocation of donations, the assistant secretary of Seas, Selma Melo, explains that an announcement for accreditation of entities, only with headquarters in Parintins, will be released this Monday (26/06).

“Through the website of the Secretariat of Social Assistance, you can enter and check the notice of the CSOs (civil society organizations) and register to be receiving this non-perishable food to serve the population and the community in a situation of social vulnerability”, highlights the secretary, anticipating that the delivery of the donations to the approved entities will take place on the 4th of July, at the Bumbódromo.

Visitors Party 2023

Promoted by the State Government, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, Amazonense Agency for Cultural Development (AADC) and cultural support from Eneva, the party precedes the 56th Parintins Folk Festival (June 30, July 1 and 2) .

For the first time, the party will be held at the Bumbódromo and will feature a 360º stage to host shows by Uendel Pinheiro, George Japa, David Assayag, Mickael, Jr Paulain, Rafa Militão, DJ Jorge Neto and national attractions, Ludmila and Simone Mendes .
