Event promotes cultural marathon at Teatro Amazonas

Manaus (AM) – On Sunday, November 19th, Teatro Amazonas hosts a cultural marathon promoted by Interarte Produtora, Cia. and Escola de Teatro. Mostra Interarte 2023 will take to the stage ten theatrical shows, 23 singing numbers and a musical theater performance. The program starts at 9am and ends at 10pm. Tickets are on sale now and range from R$10 to R$60.
This is the 16th edition of Mostra Interarte and represents the artistic celebration of actors, dancers, singers, directors and technicians. Roger Barbosa, actor and director of the company, says that the performances traditionally mark the end of the theater school’s activities.
“From March to November, Interarte promotes theater, dance, singing, cinema and musical theater courses with the aim of improving people’s lives through art. At the end of the activities, we celebrated with a great presentation”,
highlighted the director.
On Sunday, the program starts at 9 am and continues until 12 pm, with presentations made by children and for children. The first work is “Barquinho de Papel”, adapted and directed by Eduardo Oliveira. In the cast: Bia Carvalho, Beatriz Andrade, Bianca Espir, Cibelle Victória, Cibele York, Isabella Zanon, Gabriela Freitas, Helena Aguiar, Maria Clara Penhalosa and Rayssa Leite. The music is by Mário Jorgi and Thalita Mota, as assistant director. Then, Gabriel Freitas presents a singing number.
The second performance is “The Wizard of OZ”, with Alice Monteiro, Enzo Cabral, João Calebe Leite, Julia Carraro, Maria Elisa, Malu Ponce, Maria Flor, Mariah Nunes, Marina Espir, Paolla Dallastra, Rebeca Minelvino and Sarah Fernanda. The adaptation and direction is by Paulo Oliveira, with directing assistance from Emilly Cerdeira.
Roberto Carlos Jr. and Glayssa Maciel perform the two consecutive singing numbers, directed by Lia Carvalho and Raquel Barbosa, respectively.
Still in the morning, the exhibition presents the show “Sherlock’s Little Club”, by Davi Lopes and Paulo Oliveira (who is directing it). In the cast: Ana Clara Praia, Arthur Uchôa, Camilly Oliveira, Clara de Paula, Giovanna Guimarães, Julia Lima, Maithe Ferraz, Luisa Rezende, Nicolas de Andrade and Sofia Cavalcante. Emilly Cerdeira is the assistant director.
Closing the activities in the morning, “Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum” with Davi Barbosa, Edith Sofia, Elisa Carvalho, Giulia Mota Gasparini, Letícia Aquino, Miguel Bertoldo, Nina Quiroga and Saulo Uchôa. Mariana Libório directs and adapts, Eduardo Oliveira as assistant director and music for Mário Jorgi.
