Emirates starts recruitment campaign; Brazil is included – 7/5/2023 – Market

Emirates is looking to expand its headcount to meet its new “steep growth trajectory”. As a result, the Dubai-based airline announced this Tuesday (4th) a “mammoth” recruitment campaign in preparation for its fleet of latest-generation Airbus A350s and Boeing 777-X.

Oliver Grohmann, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Emirates, revealed that the company is looking for pilots, cabin crew, engineers and professionals from other areas to join the team. Grohmann also showed that the reason for this is the projected growth, the expansion of the network, the dynamism of the travel market and the overall optimistic outlook.

Emirates promises a streamlined recruitment process, with candidates going through application, interviews and admission on the same day. The approval of the human resources team takes place only 48 hours later.

According to Grohmann, the airline has built “an extraordinary reputation as an employer of choice and as a pioneering force in aviation.” The highlight is the fact that it offers work and life opportunities in Dubai, one of the safest, most cosmopolitan and dynamic cities in the world.

In 2022, Emirates received 2.7 million resumes, of which 17.2 thousand were selected. Those interested in working as a cabin crew can attend scheduled immersions on six continents and in hundreds of cities.

Emirates recruitment teams will travel to Australia, Canada, Brazil and South Africa, looking for hundreds of new engineers. There are also several customer service and IT openings that the company intends to fill as quickly as possible.
