The Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein was considered by the American magazine Newsweek the best in Latin America. The private institution is the only Brazilian among the top 100 placed and occupies the 34th place in the ranking.
LIST
The award is based on recommendations made by healthcare professionals, patient surveys and performance indicators distributed across four continents. Its results are endorsed by a board of physicians from institutions based in countries such as the United States and Israel.

The survey was carried out with around 80,000 professionals from more than 28 countries. There are other Brazilian institutions on the list: Hospital Sírio-Libanês (104th position), Hospital Moinhos de Vento (115th), Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz (177th), Hospital Santa Catarina Paulista (185th) and Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (210th).
