David Guetta says Manaus was another level and thanks you for the love and energy at the festival

DJ once again praised the show he did in the capital of Amazonas, performing at “#SouManaus Passo a Paço 2023

On his Instagram, where he has 10.3 million followers, this Wednesday (13), international DJ David Guetta once again praised the show he did in the capital of Amazonas, performing at “#SouManaus Passo a Paço 2023”, promoted by Manaus City Hall, via the Municipal Culture, Tourism and Events Foundation (Manauscult). He was the headliner from the Bradesco – Guardian of the Amazon stage, on September 5th, at the opening of the event.

“Manaus was definitely another level!!!!!!! Thank you for the love and energy. I can’t wait to be back”, he wrote in the post, already liked by more than 23 thousand in just over 45 minutes of publication.

The DJ’s publication, on the Malcher platform, was followed by a carousel of spectacular photos of his performance, with the song “Satisfaction”, in the version with Benny Benassi, released 21 years ago.

The most anticipated attraction of the festival, the biggest DJ in the world closed the first night of #SouManaus in front of a huge crowd. On his social networks, Guetta had already published scenes he took with his cell phone from the presentation. The DJ came to Brazil exclusively for the festival and continued in the city to discover the Amazon rainforest and rivers, on tours around the region.

On the 8th, after the festival, Mayor David Almeida, carried out a general assessment of the 2023 edition of #SouManaus, in the historic center, which brought together 420 thousand people, an audience that circulated through the spaces over the three days.

“The event aims to rescue the Historic Center of Manaus and this year’s edition fulfilled its duty. More than 420 thousand people were present where the city was born. And now, it has taken on a greater proportion. There were more than 1,200 positive publications about the event alone (in the media in general), 96% of which were positive. #SouManaus appeared on the national network, on international websites, with David Guetta himself posting it. This showed the capacity we have. The entire structure that was created, first world, makes us look forward to better days”, stated Almeida.

Organized within a perimeter of 44 thousand square meters, #SouManaus 2023 was a success since its planning, as no cases of robbery, theft or confusion were recorded.

The entire perimeter was monitored by more than one hundred smart cameras strategically positioned by the City Cooperation Center (CCC), and had more than 1,200 security guards, coordinated by the Municipal Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (Semseg).

The head of the municipal Executive made a point of highlighting that holding this year’s festival cost less to the public coffers than the one organized in 2022, not reaching 50% of the value set aside in the annual budget in accordance with the Annual Budget Law (LOA).
