The Decoded Program is recruiting women and trans people from all over Brazil, aged 16 or over, for a journey of training and entry into the professional market of Information Technology (IT), with a focus on Web Development. The virtual course is completely free and enrollment is open until July 31, through the website: descodedas.com.br/inscricao/.

The journey is promoted by HR Descod Tech, an innovative initiative created in 2019 as a spin-off of the startup NFE.io. The technology market is constantly growing and with a heated demand for qualified professionals. According to a survey by the Brazilian Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies (Brasscom), approximately 159,000 professionals will be needed per year to meet the demand. With this, the need to develop talent becomes even more evident.

Accompanied by a simple, practical and inclusive methodology, in these three years, the Decoded Program has already received more than five thousand applications, with more than two thousand students impacted in the initial stages, 450 participants in the learning trails and 30 professionals inserted in the professional market.

Francisco Felinto da Silva Júnior, current Chief Learning Officer and Innovation at NFE.io, points out that the course was designed and adapted for students, maintaining the quality of their training.

“It is not a short journey. On the contrary, it is sophisticated, intense and complete so that all students are able to solve the challenges of the job market. We make this a reality, as we have a methodology that encourages autonomy and responsibility in the learning process. In other words, the student believes in their potential and develops the necessary skills to follow careers related to their life purposes”,

One of those impacted by Decoded is Simone Silva, 47, from the city of Salvador (BA), who saw the program as an opportunity to get to know a totally different area:

The program is divided into semester cycles, lasting two years. The first phase is called “Trilha Zero”, a space for reception and guidance. After that, students go through four training tracks: “discovering the path to web programming”, “advancing the path to web programming”, “building and integrating Front-end applications”, and “building and integrating applications from backend”.

Each training trail lasts 20 weeks, when they end with the development of a digital product that can be used as a portfolio to enter the professional market.
