While São Paulo faces a heat wave in the coming days, Av. Faria Lima has a very airy bar, but only this weekend.
At the top of the imposing B32 building, more than 30 floors high, the helipad was transformed into an open-air bar, in action by Corona, a Mexican brand that is part of the Ambev portfolio. And, best of all, the beer, served in long neck bottles, is free.
The brand’s suggestion, almost jokingly given the overwhelming heat of the last few days, is that the customer “rediscover the Sun”. The action only takes place this Saturday (12) and Sunday (13), between 3pm and 7pm — last entry at 6pm.
“Because I am very connected to the Sun and outdoor life, [a marca] is transforming unexpected spaces, starting with a helipad, so that people can take advantage of the opportunity to see the city and life from a surprising angle, appreciating unique, grand and at the same time simple moments, like the sunset”, comments the director of premium brands from Ambev, Felipe Cerchiari.
In addition to the traditional beer, which can be served with a slice of lemon (or not), the open space will have a DJ to liven up the atmosphere. Those who are afraid of heights should be a little tense with planes passing relatively close and helicopters that can fly over the area at a lower height than the B32 helipad.
Despite free entry, you need to make a reservation on the Ingresse.com website. As there are hourly groups, anyone who wants to wait for sunset should try to book at the last time, between 6pm and 7pm. The capacity is 60 people for each session. For now, there is no rain forecast for the capital of São Paulo over the weekend, but the tip is to take sunscreen.
“We are sure that whoever goes will have a remarkable and unforgettable afternoon”, adds Cerchiari.
