The consultancy claims that it failed to receive three installments related to a termination signed in April 2022. The contract, closed in 2019, provided for the provision of technology management and development services for the retailer’s operations – which would have already been delivered. In the request filed at the 3rd Bankruptcy and Judicial Recovery Court of São Paulo on Tuesday (18), Domus states that “the insolvency of Tok Stok is proven, as it materialized in an executive title whose sum exceeds 40 minimum wages, there was no payment ”. The bankruptcy filing takes place at a time of restructuring of TokStok, which began a process of closing stores in some states of the country. The retailer was also the target of an eviction action for non-payment of rent for a logistics warehouse located in Extrema (MG). The overdue rent referred to the month of January and had been due since February 6th. The amount was paid in court.
