Consequences exhibition opens at Espaço Cultural Correios

The Espaço Cultural Correios (Avenida Sete de Setembro, 1020) will host the exhibition Consequences starting this Thursday. The vernissage takes place at 6 pm and will feature a performance by actress and dancer Chana Manica, accompanied by Marcio Bicaco’s vibraphone. Visitation runs until February 26, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm, with free admission.
Curated by Denise Giacomoni, the exhibition presents different visions and expressions of 22 artists. The public will be able to check out paintings, photographs, sculptures and tapestries demonstrating that sequences are also consequences. According to the curator, the works bring the feeling of emergence, of renewal, of resuming horizons after difficult moments of isolation, suffocated wills and dead desires, in an impulse of art that renews itself.
The artists with works included in the exhibition are Clau Sieber, Cynthia Feyh Jappur, Daisson Flach, Deja Rosa (photo), Delise Renck, Denise Wichmann, Dirce Fett, Ita Stockinger, Leandro Machado, Leda Zimmermann, Lucio Spier, Lu Gaudenzi, Luiz Filipe Varella, Mery Bavia, Milena Julianno, Nana Heisler, Nara Fogaça, Rogério Pessôa, Rose Osório, Sandra Kravetz, Tania Martins and Tita Macedo.
