The Biennial pavilion, in Ibirapuera Park, will host the second edition of the São Paulo Coffee Festival next weekend, an event that will include tastings, workshops, lectures and even concerts.
It will be possible, for example, to follow the roasting process of a coffee step by step – and even take home the roasted beans on the spot.
There will also be paired meals and tasting experiences, such as the coffee and chocolate workshop, as well as lectures and latte art workshops, to learn how to make designs on the cappuccino itself.
The festival will have music performances and a beer specially made by the Tarantino brewery with infusion of yellow catuaí coffee from Serra da Canastra.
The event, which started in London and landed in Brazil last year, brings together both major companies in the sector – such as 3 Corações, Melitta, Nespresso, Nescafé and Orfeu – as well as coffee shops – such as Coffee Lab, Futuro Refeittório and Academia do Café.
Participating establishments offer tastings and many take the opportunity to launch new products.
There will also be a food court, with food from Bar do Luiz Fernandes, JoJo Ramen and Z-Deli, among other restaurants.
Last year, the São Paulo Coffee Festival received 12,000 visitors. For this edition, 15 thousand people are expected, according to Caio Alonso, director of Café Editora and organizer of the event.
