Alcoholic beverages do the opposite: they act so that the body loses these substances. “Coconut water helps to have good hydration. Therefore, increasing water consumption and including coconut water help to improve the (hangover) condition”, she details. She adds that there is no exact dose for consumption, but says that 500 ml of the drink would be a good suggestion to combat hangover symptoms, such as headache and nausea.
