The 1968 disc has a repertoire recreated by Áurea Martins, André Gabeh and Vidal Assis with arrangements by Lui Coimbra. In the project entitled Gente nova da Antiga, Clementina de Jesus (February 7, 1901 – July 19, 1987), João da Baiana (May 17, 1887 – January 12, 1974) and Pixinguinha (April 23, 1897 – February 17, 1973) will be personified by Áurea Martins, André Gabeh and Vidal Assis. The trio will cover the repertoire of the album Gente da Antiga with arrangements by Lui Coimbra and percussion by Marcos Suzano. This is the same team brought together by Grecco on the album Senhora das Folhas (2022), acclaimed album by Áurea Martins. The start of work on Old and New People is scheduled for March.
