Cineteatro Guarany receives programming of Amazonian films

Also this Saturday, the students of the Audiovisual Production Workshop (OPA) of the Amazonian Museum of UFAM
The Cineclube project, promoted by the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, continues this Saturday (28) with a diversified program of films from Amazonas, at Cineteatro Guarany, Avenida Sete de Setembro, 1546, Centro. More than 15 short films, produced by audiovisual students in the state, will be screened from 6:30 pm. Admission is free and the rating is 14 years old.
Cineteatro Guarany is a space that plays an important role in the dissemination of audiovisual productions and, this season, it continues with the exhibition of short films from the Amazon.
The secretary of culture, Marcos Apolo Muniz, emphasizes that valuing local artists is a way of keeping the regional culture alive. “We are concerned about giving space to artists, regional producers and academics, as they represent our culture in their works and this keeps art alive”, he said.
Still this Saturday, the students of the Audiovisual Production Workshop (OPA) of the Amazonian Museum of UFAM, will present productions of dramatic films, many of them, recorded in Largo de São Sebastião.
