Manaus (AM) – On May 20, at 6:30 pm, the Cineclube de Arte will hold another edition of the “Mostra de Cineastas Amazonenses”. This time, the exhibition has the theme “Cinema de Anori”, with the aim of highlighting the works produced by filmmakers from the municipality, which is located 195 kilometers from Manaus.

The event will take place at CineTeatro Guarany (Av. Sete de Setembro, 1546 – Vila Ninita, attached to the Rio Negro Palace), and has free indicative rating for all audiences. Admission is free, with no need to register.

The films in the exhibition were produced in cinema workshops given by the Amazonian filmmaker Z Leão since 2017 in the city of Anori. The training project had Amacine Futuros Cineastas as a collaborator in partnership with Pekena Filmes.

“Many workshops were held and even some film-schools, the idea being that the workshop ended with the production of a short film, in order to go from theory to practice”, explained Z Leão about the organization of the project.
