Manaus (AM) — The Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia, which is part of the VINCI Airports network, is promoting on April 19th a cine debate with Amazonian actor Adanilo Reis, one of the stars of the first phase of the soap opera Renascer, on TV Globo. The initiative is part of the Indigenous Voices project, which aims to promote and preserve the culture of these populations that are so important for the construction of the country.

Throughout the month of April, dedicated to paying tribute to indigenous peoples, Manaus Airport carries out the project. A craft fair and lecture addressing the reality of indigenous issues, struggles, achievements and representation have already been held, aimed at employees and the airport community at the seven airports operated by the company in the Region. The project takes place in partnership with the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon (COIAB).

The entire program also takes place at the airports of Tefé, Tabatinga (AM), Boa Vista (RR), Porto Velho (RO), Rio Branco and Cruzeiro do Sul (AC).

The CEO of the Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia, Karen Strougo, highlights: “Since we started our operations at Aeroportos da Amazônia, one of our concerns has been to learn more about the culture of the places where we operate, respect diversity and value our indigenous peoples. . This initiative is a way of paying homage to these people who are so representative of our history and culture.”
