The Chinese Consulate in São Paulo said this Wednesday (8th) that it will reassess its service after a change that has generated queues at dawn on the sidewalk of the organ in an upscale neighborhood of the capital of São Paulo in recent days.

Visa applicants who were waiting in line attribute the confusion to the consulate’s decision to suspend online scheduling this month and start receiving only 30 people per day in person at the location.

As shown by Panel SA this Tuesday (7), companies that need to send their professionals on business trips to the Asian country are concerned about the bottleneck in the release of documents.

The Chinese representation works from 9 am to 12 pm to carry out the service. There are reports of the sale of places in the queue at R$ 800 for people waiting on the spot.

The agency promises to respond to emails within two days. Travelers who have a flight booked for this month and need it urgently will have their appointments scheduled by email. Still according to the consulate, the orientation is that these passengers send their passports, forms and documents.

For those who have a ticket from April, the agency recommends that you wait for a statement and send an email again after March 20.

“There are people lining up since dawn. Therefore, to avoid further inconvenience, we ask you to wait for a new announcement. We will reassess our mode of service to serve you better”, said the consulate in a note.
