Workers with an unemployment insurance claim registered as of Thursday (11) will receive the benefit with the inflation adjustment.
The value of the benefit paid to unemployed workers varies according to their average salary in the three months prior to dismissal and cannot be lower than the current minimum wage, R$1,412.
Workers whose last three salaries are greater than R$3,402.65 will invariably be entitled to unemployment insurance in the amount of R$2,313.74.

The number of unemployment insurance installments varies depending on the request and the duration of work preceding the request. The installment is always released 30 days after the request or withdrawal of the previous installment.
The first time you apply for the benefit, the worker will receive it for five months if you have worked at least 24 months in the last 36 months (two years of registration in the previous three years). For those who have worked between 12 and 23 months in the last three years, the insurance will be paid in four installments.
In the second request, the rules for having four or five installments are the same. There is also the possibility of receiving three installments, in the case of those who worked between nine and 11 months in the 36 months prior to dismissal.
