To help with the next steps, Sala Paulo Gustavo is back open with in-person service from Friday to Sunday (08 to 10), in Vila Ninita, Centro
Manaus (AM) – The list of projects in the audiovisual sector to receive resources from the Paulo Gustavo Law (LPG) is already published on the Culture Portal, on the federal law website. To check the approved projects by sector, simply access the notices area, then “access the main page”, which will open the screen with all the notices and their respective lists. The link also gives access to those approved.
In total, the Government of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, submitted nine notices to promote the arts. They are: Promotion of the Arts, Popular Culture, Hip Hop Culture, LGBTQIAPN+ Culture, Indigenous Peoples, Audiovisual, Black People, Support for Micro and Small Audiovisual Businesses and Cultura Transforma.
The Paulo Gustavo Law is the result of the collaboration of artists, parliamentarians and culture managers, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, aiming to allocate resources for emergency actions in culture. The investments to be allocated in the sector have as their main objective the resumption of artistic and cultural activities after two years of interruption.
The preparation of the notices for the Paulo Gustavo Law, in Amazonas, was the result of a collaborative and participatory process in sectoral meetings with the artistic class and culture makers.
Proponents whose project was approved by the Paulo Gustavo Law enter the celebration phase of the process. It is necessary for recipients to carefully follow some different steps for those who registered as an Individual, Legal Entity or MEI (Individual Microentrepreneur). More information, access here.
To assist with the next steps and clarify the doubts of those contemplated in the projects, the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy reactivates the Paulo Gustavo Room, for face-to-face service. The space located in Vila Ninita, a building attached to the Palácio Rio Negro Cultural Center, Avenida Sete de Setembro, Centro, opens again from this Friday (08/12), extending until Sunday (10/12), from 10am at 2pm.
The service does not need to be scheduled, just go to the location during opening hours. Questions can also be sent to email [email protected].
