Cella Bártholo presents mini-documentary and book to mark the launch of her new EP

In the book “Relatos de Someone Que Eu Não Foi”, the artist delves into the narrative of a toxic relationship

Singer and actress Cella Bártholo releases, on the 19th of this month, the EP “Relatos de algo que não fale”. The work, which has already had five songs presented separately, will be available in its entirety on all digital platforms, on this date, with the surprise of a new song. Furthermore, to mark the launch, the public will be able to see behind-the-scenes of the EP’s production, in a mini-documentary. In partnership with illustrator Mel Ferreira, a book with the same name as the musical work was produced.

Cella highlights that the response from the public has been incredible since the first song on the EP was presented in July last year.

“I chose to show this work little by little, so that people would enjoy it. Now, the last song, ‘Queda Livre’, will be made available along with the complete EP”,

explains.

Cella highlights that “Reports from someone I was not” is an inspiring work, which deals with current themes, such as self-knowledge and toxic and abusive relationships. With melancholic compositions, which capture the essence of generation Z, the songs on the EP bring a sweet and, at the same time, intense air to the moments reported. The musical production is by the duo Gabé and Aureo Gandur, who have been working with the artist since 2022.

According to Cella, another new feature for the public is the mini-documentary in three episodes, showing behind the scenes of the EP’s production. The first will be available this Wednesday (10), at 8pm (Brasília time), on Instagram @cellabartholo. The next two videos will be presented on Friday (12) and Monday (15), always at 8 pm.

“We will show the entire creation process, from song composition, inspiration, production and recording. The idea is for the public to experience a little behind the scenes, on the screen”,

Still as part of the “Reports of someone I didn’t go” program, Cella, in partnership with illustrator Mel Ferreira, will launch the eponymous book at an event for guests, on January 19th, in Rio de Janeiro. The work brings together lyrics from the EP’s songs and poems written by Cella and illustrated by Mel Ferreira.

“I discovered Mel’s work on social media and was enchanted. We combined ideas and the work was incredible. In principle, it is a book that will be given to some people and will also be shown on my social networks”,
