Carnaboi 2024 promises to end programming with a flourish at Studio 5, in Manaus

The first night was attended by more than 12 thousand people
Manaus (AM) — After the success of the first night of Carnaboi 2024 with the presence of more than 12 thousand people, this Friday (9), at the Studio 5 Convention Center, Distrito Industrial. The second and last night of Carnaboi promises to entertain revelers with a varied program this Saturday (10), starting at 7pm.
In this edition, in addition to the new location, Carnaboi is being held during the carnival period, on the weekend after the Manaus samba school parades, at the Sambódromo, continuing the actions that make up Carnival in the Forest.
Promoted for more than two decades by the State Government, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, the popular festival marks the beginning of the calendar of cattle events in the State, until the arrival of the Parintins Folk Festival, in the month of June.
The Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy, Marcos Apolo Muniz, states that Carnaboi is a democratic party, where the ox fans occupy the same space.
“The important thing here is for us to enjoy, warm up and prepare for the competition in the arena, which is where it really takes place”, said the secretary. “Congratulations to the public who were present, congratulations to the bumbás Garantido and Caprichoso. We are certainly generating great expectations for this year. We’ve already had the biggest folk festival of all time, so consider what’s coming this year. It will be even bigger, and with the presence of all of you”,
said Apollo.
The Queen of Boi Caprichoso Folklore, Cleise Simas, who has already participated in editions of Carnaboi in the municipality of Parintins, debuts on stage at the party held in Manaus.
“It’s Carnaboi’s first time here at Studio 5 and the first time I’m participating in this event, which I only watched on television, because I’m from Parintins. I’m very happy to put on a great show for our nation”, comments Cleise.
Among many artists and official items, Boi Garantido’s tripa, Batista Silva, is one of Carnaboi’s veterans. With the confidence of someone he knows, he approved the new format of the party. “The structure was 100%. There’s parking, it can rain here, people don’t get wet, they can come neatly, with their address, and there’s no problem with it getting damaged. The government got this Carnaboi right once again,” he says.
