Second to perform this Friday (30), on the first night of the 56th Folk Festival of Parintins, Boi Caprichoso, whose theme is “The cry of the warrior people”, presented, in a press conference, on Thursday (29), the arena project for the three nights of the party.

The president of Caprichoso, Jender Lobato, highlighted the planning and commitment of all the members of Boi-Bumbá, and praised the work of the Government of Amazonas in promoting a show of world proportion, investing in the quality of the presentations, but above all in the structure of the city for the holding of the festival, which according to him will be the biggest of all time.

“We came here to put on a show, to make presentations in the Caprichoso standard, which will make the blue and white nation enchanted. We are prepared to make the best festival in our history. We have to highlight the work of the Government of Amazonas, since holding a festival is not just releasing resources, it is preparing the city and offering conditions for the show to be held. And all this was done thanks to the commitment of our governor Wilson Lima”, said the president.

During the three days of presentation, tributes will be made to indigenous peoples, in addition to honoring the history of the city of Parintins. Erick da Silva Nakanomi, director of the Boi Caprichoso Art Council, explained that there will be four allegory pieces and a lot of historical reference to the original peoples with their presence within the presentation.

“This festival we had time to think about, create with much more affection and care, where we are going to bring an ox that is much better prepared than at the last festival in 2022. the new moment of contemporary culture, where it is not possible to talk about them without having them included in our festival”, said the director.

In 2023, the queen of Boi-Bumbá Caprichoso, Cleise Simas, highlighted that the objective is to deliver excellence and seek the second championship, with all items synchronized and committed to putting on the best show possible.

“We worked hard to deliver a very complete boi-bumba. As for my item, I rehearsed a lot and I’m committed to getting a 10, we know that the ox Caprichoso will deliver excellence every night”, concluded the queen.
