Manaus (AM) – In order to raise awareness about men’s health and,
especially regarding prostate cancer, the global “Blue November” initiative
seeks to emphasize the importance of prevention, early detection and treatment of this cancer
silent disease that affects countless men around the world.

According to the most recent data from the National Cancer Institute (INCA), the state of Amazonas has witnessed a worrying increase in the incidence of prostate cancer,
with a total of 1200 new cases recorded in 2022 alone. These statistics
reinforce the urgency of intensifying awareness and prevention efforts in order to
tackle this disease more effectively.

Early diagnosis plays a vital role in the fight against breast cancer
