Executive Ana Cabral, CEO of Sigma Lithium, was selected by the CNBC channel for its prestigious Changemakers list, which includes women whose achievements leave a mark in the business world.

The list includes everyone from startup founders to CEOs and advisors of large companies that make up the S&P500 index. Also included are professionals who transform the media industry and athletes who elevate the status of women in sports.

According to CNBC, Brazilian Ana Cabral is the most important business leader in the production of inputs for the transition to electric vehicles. Her company extracts, on a large scale and at low costs, zero-carbon lithium – the most sustainable in the world.

Sigma Lithium is the only company to produce Quintuple Zero Green Lithium at its plant called Greentech, because it operates without the use of potable water, coal power or the use of harmful chemicals, resulting in a zero carbon process.

With its project, the company also encourages the productive inclusion of the population of an impoverished region of Brazil, the Jequitinhonha Valley (MG), where the factory is located.

Other names selected by the publication include Taylor Swift, Gina Raimundo, Angela Hwang, Tracee Ellis Ross, Dana Walden, Fidji Simo, Clara Shih, Kirstin Peck, Aradhana Sarin, Priscilla Almodóvar, Dina Powell, Getha Murai and Naomi Osaka.
