Artist must travel with his 60 collaborators to Qatar
Singer Bruno Mars and his team received authorization and left Israel this Saturday (7), after the announcement of a state of war in the country. Until then, it was only known that the singer was awaiting authorization to leave Tel Aviv, but he and his staff were spotted leaving for Athens, Greece, this afternoon.
The artist must travel with his 60 collaborators to Qatar, the next destination on his tour. He would perform in the Israeli capital tonight. The presentation, however, had already been canceled earlier by Live Nation, responsible for producing the event.
“Dear customers, the Bruno Mars presentation that was scheduled for tonight is cancelled,”
said an excerpt from the statement.
Israel is being bombarded by the armed Islamic movement Hamas, which demands the retaking of territory from the Gaza Strip. The surprise attack has killed at least 348 people and is considered one of the biggest in history.
Bruno Mars turns 38 tomorrow (08), and should spend his birthday safely. The singer became popular with Brazilian fans last month, when he participated in The Town festival, with songs that moved the audience and several mentions of the country.
