In a note, the manufacturer informed that the change is “part of a continuous process of evaluating the business and the market, to ensure the company’s competitiveness and determine the best allocation of resources”. The Bridgestone factory in Santo André currently has 3,400 employees. The total should be reduced to 2,800.
