Continental Bar launches this Thursday (13th), a line of bottled cocktails, signed by bartender Igor Bishop. The first product to be part of the new line is Nuttshell, an own creation by Bispo. At the bar, the drink is sold for R$62 (110ml), while the bottled version costs R$66 (200ml).

“I’ve lost count of how many cocktails I’ve created. The Nuttshell comes from a letter I created for Tiger, in mid-2013. At that time, Aperol Spritz was on the rise and I’ve always had the philosophy that when you have a good ingredient, you must use it in several cocktails. One day, researching the map of flavors, I realized that because Aperol is made from oranges, it could combine well with hazelnuts and dried fruits. I decided to test it with almond liqueur and it worked. Since then , has been a cocktail that is always present in all the letters I make”, comments the bartender.

Production will be carried out in small batches. Continental sends the inputs to the factory, where the drink is made with the supervision of Bispo’s team. “We make about 400 liters at a time, the entire bottling, blending and sealing process is automated. An industrial process, but in small batches, which is the way we have to guarantee the quality of the final product”, he explains.

Nuttshell is the first drink to integrate the new line of bottled cocktails, which should be expanded with other creations by Igor Bispo in the future. The drink can be purchased directly at Continental, or at stores such as bars, markets and gas stations.

The Continental Bar is open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:30 pm to 1 am. The location is not disclosed and is only passed on to the customer after making a reservation, which can be made through Instagram @cocktailscontinental.
